IP42 SAP tcode for – Add strategy-controlled plan

Here we would like to draw your attention to IP42 transaction code in SAP. As we know it is being used in the SAP PM-PRM (Preventive Maintenance in PM) component which is coming under PM module (Plant Maintenance).IP42 is a transaction code used for Add strategy-controlled plan in SAP.

It comes under the package IPRM.When we execute this transaction code, SAPLIWP3 is the normal standard SAP program that is being executed in background.
