Here we would like to draw your attention to AO96 transaction code in SAP. As we know it is being used in the SAP FI-AA (Asset Accounting in FI) component which is coming under FI module (Financial Accounting). AO96 is a transaction code used for Acct. assgnmt. Transfer of reserves in SAP.
It comes under the package for Asset Accounting: General Tables and Customizing (AA_BAS_CUS). When we execute this transaction code, is the normal standard SAP program that is being executed in background. Transaction code AO96 is included in the SAP component for SAP_FIN.
